The Story
Denim is the most lived in cloth there is, the one that grows more personal the longer you wear it. We wanted a jacket built for exactly that: a piece you keep for years, that records your wear rather than hides it, and that looks as considered at the end of its life as at the start. It is unisex by design, drawn to sit well on more than one kind of body.
The Innovation
The cloth is a two tone block denim cut from organic cotton and hemp. Cotton carries the softness, hemp gives the backbone, so the jacket holds its shape and resists wear at the seams and cuffs where a jacket usually gives out first. Kinder to the soil and to the skin, and built to be worn hard.
The Craft
The denim is woven in Turkey and every jacket is crafted in Italy, in small batches rather than tens of thousands of units made on the hope they sell. It is offered on pre order so we make close to what is wanted, which keeps waste low and lets us inspect every piece by hand.
