Hemp is one of the most generous fibres we know. It asks little of the soil and can help condition it as it grows, reaches its full height in about three months, and generally needs less water and fewer inputs than cotton. We weave it together with organic cotton into our first denim.
Our denim is 68 percent organic cotton and 32 percent hemp, a midweight cloth at 315 g/m2 that wears all year. Cotton carries the softness, hemp gives the backbone, so the jeans hold their shape, resist wear at the seams and knees, and grow more personal the longer you live in them. The cloth is woven in Turkey and every garment is crafted in Italy.
Care
Wash cold and inside out, hang dry, and wear it often. Denim asks to be lived in, not laundered too much.
